Peter is a PDRA in the MTG in the Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy.
He has studied a range of materials including solid hydrogen, polymer composites and organic semiconductors.
His research uses a combination of novel method development and large simulation packages such as CASTEP and LAMMPS.
His work with Prof. Chris Pickard is focused on studying materials under extreme conditions generated by dynamic shock.
