The 2026 session of CSP2A aims to introduce two powerful methods for finding the global (and local) minima of a potential energy surface, an evolutionary algorithm and an ab initio random generator.
Dr. Peter Cooke was invited to give a lecture on Machine-learned Potentials in AIRSS. Dr. Maélie Caussé was invited to present the "Search for superconducting ternary hydrides under pressure with EDDPs".
They prepared and gave four hands-on tutorial sessions on AIRSS/EDDPS at the Workshop.
