Kapildeb was a PDRA in the MTG in the Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy, working on high-throughput search for new high temperature superconductors using Density Functional Perturbation Theory (DFPT) combined with Ab initio Random Structure
Searching (AIRSS). He also carried out an investigation of computationally cheap descriptors of superconductivity that might accelerate the triaging of candidates.
