Dr Maelie Causse

Maelie is a PDRA in the Material Theory Group. 

She uses density functional theory (DFT) with the AIRSS framework and machine-learned potentials to discover novel materials and study their properties. Her actual research in collaboration with Chris Pickard focuses on searching for hydrogen-based high-temperature superconductivity at high-pressure in novel hydrides by means of high-throughput strategies.
