William Davie

Will is a PhD student supervised by Bartomeu Monserrat and supported by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). His research focuses on the intersection of machine-learned interatomic potentials (MLIPs) and first-principles methods designed for strongly correlated materials. He aims to develop potentials that address nuclear decommissioning challenges, such as helium diffusion in plutonium dioxide, while establishing a framework applicable to a broader range of strongly correlated systems.
